Thankfully, after three previous attempts over several months, in February 2007 at -25 degrees Celcius, after 4 hours of walking and seven kilometers of snowshoeing we found the tree that was seen in July on the Blanchette moun tain. At the very last second, while thinking of giving up on my search, I bent down to remove snow from a tree and spotted, under three feet of snow, the piece seen here which was used to create this art piece. - Next
